Royal Belgian Malinois Reports & Reviews (7)

My name is Paul and I almost lost a considerable amount of money for the third time in six months. I was searching for a Belgian Malinois. I came across a website called Royal House Belgian Malinois. I spoke to a gentleman who called himself Louis Jeremiah. His phone number is 707-335-0233. He provided me with a copy of his drivers license for some reason and a sales contract for a Belgian Malinois puppy. I did not give him any money. I have some experience with certain breeds of dogs. The Belgian Malinois and Dutch shepherd and any kind of shepherd is a very active Highly driven/motivated breed. There are many many of these dogs available at local shelters. People buy them and the realize that their dog through no fault of the dog is a nutjob! Since they don't know how to raise a Malinois they take them to a shelter. T Louis Jeremiah did not ask me any important questions that a real breeder would ask. Real Breeders of these dogs do not sell them to people who have no experience with them. They do not sell them as gifts for someone. It is easier to adopt a child in this country than it is to buy a Malinois. Just joking but you get my point. When I filled out the application for this dog I used a friends name as a reference but I put my phone number down to see if they would catch it or even call me. They did not. This is the third time I have been through this. For some reason the scammers always have a heavy accent. Usually an Indian accent. I do not want to insult anyone by using the word "Indian" so please do not be offended. I am only trying to help others avoid getting scammed. There are a lot of emotions involved when buying a Puppy and many other things. Do not let your emotions dictate your actions and your common sense and gut feeling. I have been searching for a dog for over six months. I have filled out several applications at animal shelters and I know what it takes to qualify as a foster or adopter of these animals. Real breeders do not sell these dogs cheap. I would expect to pay 1200 to 3500 bucks for a dog at a minimum. Expect your breeder to be willing to give you his/her breeders license number as well as their veterinary information. And one final thought. These animals are not your typical pet. They are working dogs and must have your attention 75% of the time. The last thing anyone wants is another misunderstood breed of dog going to a shelter with a very high probability (again through no fault of the dog) of not making it out of the shelter. Please do not make it any easier for these [censored] scammers who claim to sell you a puppy and instead take your money and your emotions and leave you with nothing in return. Good luck to anyone searching for a puppy and do your homework. I will post a picture of the drivers license later on today. The address on it is a PO box in Glendale California. That was another thing that raised my concern about this so called BREEDER!

A dear friend of mine trusted this company and went to purchase a puppy. They had sent tracking information and everything before she had realized she had been scammed out of over $700.

My son found the website, I communicated with someone on the website, they sent me pictures of the puppies. Ironically, we chose Daisy because she had the same name as the last dog who just passed away and it would be easier for my grandkids to remember. I asked for his name, Osman Johnson, Okay I feel a little better, but still iffy about this good deal...Should of gone with my sixth sense...Nope, I pulled the trigger and sent over $875...Dam, I'm pissed. I get a call from some Florida number 305-517-4201, I call back and the person with a strong accent, was asking me to purchase or rent an A/C dog kennel, because of extreme weather conditions...I was emailed a link, and could not justify the cost for these kennels and expect a 98% rental fee return. I did not send the extra money, thank God. I emailed Osman, that my nephew will pick up the dog and I will go to Colorado myself and bring home the puppy, its cheaper. Now Osman, will not return my emails. DO NOT BUY, DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY. SCAM!

My family choose Belgian Malinois puppy named Jason and we paid 875$ through the Zelle. And the person told me puppy sent to us by logistic worldwide delivery company but the day puppy supposed to be arrive the guy from delivery company called and asked me 1000$ for air conditioning crate and they said money is 90% refundable. I believed it and paid 1000$ which is sounds SKAM but I believed. Later he called me again and told me that puppy needs city permit to enter and asked me another 1500$. I was so shocked and get mad at them but they was forcing me to pay. I knew it was SKAM but I felt that the puppy might arrive and paid 300$ out of 1500$. And that was it they never contacted me again. Everything looked so real and legit. I lost 2200$ total. This is embarrassing to say it but I fell for it. They played with our feelings. My son cried 2 days it’s just heart breaks to see him. Please see the pic below and do not believe if the site is matches with those pic!

An internet search for puppies for sale led us to the site https://royalbelgianmalinois.com, a breeder supposedly located in Colorado. It seemed legitimate, including reviews by people using first and last name. After some back and forth texting with "Hamadi Maji" at (970) 387 2054, we agreed on one of the Belgian Malinois puppies offered for sale. He asked for a 50% deposit through Zelle, which we sent on 6/8/2021.

The second payment on 6/11/2021 was for the balance plus shipping.

A few hours after the second payment, we received the following email:

We realized we had been scammed. The website has been registered through Iceland and no name appears in the registrant section. The phone numbers are not assigned to any person.

We contacted the bank, Wells Fargo, through which we sent the money via Zelle. They opened an investigation.

A quick belated Facebook search shows these people are active countrywide.

I chose to purchase a Belgian Malinois puppy for my sons birthday. They only excepted Apple Pay zelle and MasterCard gift cards. I assumed it was because supposedly they were a small family owned dog breeder. It wasn’t until I was in contact with ultrasafemovers.com, who claimed they ship pets in these situations. That’s when I realized it was scammed. They would say they needed more money due to Covid-19 regulations that required specific licenses fees to ship to California. I’m embarrassed to say I fell for it. They requested more money until I started questioning them more and now no response.
