How i recovered back my stolen cryptocurrency.
Type of a scam Debt Collections
Confused and scared, I reached out to the number and spoke with Jennifer Conley (Last name may be incorrect). She said I was being pursued because of an installment loan from several years before from the organization Check n’ Go. Jennifer had my email address, birthday, and an old address. She mentioned she was calling from a company called Royal Management Solutions. I requested information be emailed to me.
Shortly after, my roommate received a similar call about my potential court date. However, the date of filing was Wednesday July 25. She forwarded me the transcription, and I called Jennifer back. Rather than answer the phone with “mediation”, Jennifer answered saying “Legal” despite the same number being dialed. I requested to know the people they had called and that no other people would be contacted. She didn’t know who was contacted but said she would call me back once she had the information.
Today July 26, my roommate said she’d received another call from 916-318-6647. I quickly searched the number and found that it was a scam using similar tactics described above. As I had received no further communications, email or phone, I reached back out to Jennifer. When I Called from my personal cell, no one answered. However, I called immediately back using my work number and Jennifer answered. She said they had sent the email on July 24th around 1 PM PST. With her on the call, I went through my email thoroughly and with no luck finding the email. She, once again, said she would check on it.
These tactics have me worried it might be a scam. I have searched but the company has no website or digital footprint to be found.
