Rozendal Employment Scam

I was sent an email to download Telegram and all communication was via telegram, with every instruction ending with Standby online. I was discussing with a Nathan Perkovic. When I asked to speak with him for some clarification he sounded African with an African accent. I told him I could not share my SIN with him online and I would like to come to the office to submit it in person he said no and deleted all our chats.

Type of a scam Employment

I was contacted about a possible employment position with this company via email and they offered an interview time and instructed me to download an app called Telegram. Which I did. There was no face to face contact but he delivered a list of interview questions to my personal email with a msg from telegram stating to reply to the email with my answers and “standby online”. I replied to the email with the interview questions which were basic interview questions. I thought perhaps after this process there would be a video conference to go through my answers. However there was another message stating to "standby online" while my answers were reviewed and to message them in 15 minutes to confirm my employment with the company. After 15 mins I messaged the company and received a message back stating I had been selected for the position and a start date with pay scale. Still no face to face interaction so I messaged to ask if it would be possible to speak on the phone to clarify some details and I received no response. After 15 mins I messaged to state that I believed this was a scam and that I will be reporting them. I received an instant message back saying "I understand your conclusion” (or something like that).. our message thread was then promptly deleted by him.
