I signed up for the Disney marathon in 2022. Back in the fall of 2021, I broke my ankle and could not run the race. runDisney told me that they could credit me the amount I paid for the race so I could use it on anything Disney (including signing up for next year's race). I agreed to do this, and Disney responded with a long email that had in small print at the bottom "please respond to this email yes if you'd like to cancel registration and receive credit to your account". I missed this tiny item in the email, I assumed because I previously said "yes" that it would process the credit.

It is now April, and I reached out to ask how I can access the credit to sign up for the Marathon in 2023. I have been working with their employee Koko who has been less but helpful. She explained that since I did not respond to the above email, the credit was never processed. She ensured that it would be fixed by the end of the week. I followed up every 5 days, and we are now here 4 weeks later. Koko pressured me to sign up for 2023 before my credit is given back to me, and I am so glad I chose to wait because runDisney has been nonresponsive and scamming me.

Now I don't have the $195 to sign up for the race, and ultimately may have missed the opportunity to sign up, due to their lack of communication and choosing not to process my credit. At this point I am greatly begging to receive a full refund, as I do not want to purchase anything from a scamming company with employees who lie and mislead customers, such as runDisney.
