Type of a scam Worthless Problem-solving Service Scam
The first contacts sounded somewhat similar to movie projects/ad work I have worked on as a technical network graphics person for artists which is known in our industry where he comes from on West Coast of USA. It is our family NYC businesses since the 1930s. Caller also told me he wanted to buy my longstanding Shopify and Netfusion website and many graphics because he could use them under his Brooklyn artist Banksy style faus name. Caller said he was going to re-create it and I could do the same as a graphics artists he explained because of his notions of his new NFT business. In May I later learned ruon.ai still not viable and extremely risky "great" idea after 2 years. ruon.ai has splashy websites and caller's first contact he surrounded me with beautiful young models with his video/the models who were scripted to be lying to me. The group he calls "Angels" (like Charlie Angels on tv) wanted to buy my arts at over $70,000 per piece (which caller later admitted he could not pay anything of merit for). Caller then directed me to send him images and my website.
From April to May the phone callers had so many ever changing deceptive sales presentations in videos they would send me while I was working ahrd in an old farm I am trying to fix to retire at. Caller even promised in a charming friendly English accent to visit me to help at the home repairs but never did One time he asked me to review his art related contract for his high risk not viable cyrpto currency firm that he learned was one of my interests and he attempted to have me give him the privvte contracts of our company artists. He hired me after i refused to give him the past contracts for mostly my free hours and $795 including teleconferences, one was a marketing expert named "C" who tries to interpret the callers' demands from wherever she works at ruon.ai (maybe California by phone number).
The ensuing fraudulent change by the caller of contract(s) over just days and a critical 27 page English to Japanese business language work product that took my firm over 25 hours at super weekend rush with a $3750 invoice remains unpaid. Caller says he "loves" my work products I delivered but I should do it for free as translation. This week he says my translation is like I am printing money and I am making the translation time up (a lie to try to get it free). He suddenly became more and more aggressive, demanded my business send out the translation, screams and bullies me. This just to help his art/Planet 9 movie investors be scammed with me which is a potential crime to artists/investors. Using my current translations not legal in many nations. It turns out that caller's dad and some of the new block chain and cyrpto currency scam is just like this 2016 timeshare Ponzi scams in recent history in the USA out of Las Vegas NV> It is called Diamond Resorts timeshares that had multiple court sanctions and what appears to be almost $1million dollar in fines.
To date the printed and emailed contract copies are crypto ruon schemes and Ponzi style scams as knowledgeable experts have informed me. Upon review of the copies I had received last week, when I got home I found the verbiage "locked down" of compensation, unreasonable / undefined textputting the caller in total control of outcomes and any possible payments to me non viable. The callers are now calling me horrible names aggressively (Slasher movie style)threatening me. They are still trying to get me to send out to public potentially Ponzi scheme translations.
