I bought a Roku and when I tried to activate it I was instructed to visit the Roku website to activate it, I entered the code on the website and it gave me an error and told me to call ?1 (812) 408-9037, (this is no longer an active number)?. I called this number and was told by “Sam” that I needed to pay a one time lifetime fee of 49.99. Even thiugh it specifically says that Roku will not charge for activation support. He emailed me the invoice and told me to pay it within 15 minutes or it would lock my tv. I did not pay it and the tv is still working. I included his direct line as the phone number he told me to contact for support and he answers as Roku support ?1 (888) 901-2111?
