Just after i submitted my order for the RYOKO PRO portable hotspot, i realized i made a big mistake, because I discovered that I would have to purchase additional VIAOTA data plan in perpetuity, so I immediately contacted their company through their recommended manner (customer support email). They replied saying they were busy but someone would eventually respond. That was a month ago. No one ever responded to me. The product arrived last week. I went to their website to initiate my return. The website instructs me to click the link for the proper RMA form, without which, they say they will not honor a return. The link does not produce an RMA form. Instead it goes to a page which tells you to contact their customer support email to get the form. So I did that. I'm still waiting. Meanwhile, I tried calling the phone number they provided. After waiting for about 15 minutes, it said they were too busy to answer my call, and that I should leave a message. I hung up. Their slick ad selling the product on the website says, "If within the first 30 days of receipt you are not satisfied with Muama Ryoko, you can request a refund by sending an email to the address given inside the product and we will immediately refund your entire purchase price, with no questions asked." There is no reason to think this product is coming from outside the USA. After the product arrives with no paperwork providing how to return the item, you go to their website where you find out you must ship it to Germany at your own expense, but you must also send it with their RMA form which is very difficult and perhaps impossible to obtain. It's been a month since I first contacted them to say I no longer wanted the product. They have not replied; they shipped the product anyway, and billed my account $104. Now I am going to great lengths to try to return the product and get my money back. I sent another message to their customer support email requesting their RMA form, and I also filled out their "contact us" form on their website regarding this problem. DO NOT ORDER A RYOKO PORTABLE HOTSPOT unless you are willing to pay for the unreasonable VIAOTA data plans which will be necessary to use the product. If you think you might want to return their product, DO NOT ORDER IT!! THEIR RETURN POLICY IS A SCAM!! THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A JOKE!
