Received a letter in the mail that states I made a purchase on Amazon using someone elses credit card using "smoke screen utilizing bots" and that I am facing identity theft charges unless I pay for the purchase and half of the attorney fees. In order to erase my file and avoid jail time, they ask I send a money order to a Mr. Wolfram for the amount of the purchase plus $100.

The letter i received is completely bogus as the language used in the letter is very obviously fake. Do not fall prey to these scammers, all they are trying to do is intimidate people by using fake lawyer office names and addresses. I did my research and the lawyer office does not even exist.
