The next day they gave us the information of the fake logistics company and the tracking number for our puppy. The logistics company has a pretty legit looking site (https://globalmoverslogistics.com), where you can pull up the tracking info and it updates your information. If you look carefully, there are spelling and grammar errors. We coincidentally talked to another asian man with a thick accent.
When the puppy was supposedly in-transit, the "shipping company" determined the weather was too hot for her to travel in and that she would need an air-conditioned crate. They would need an extra $680 deposit which would be 98% refundable. This possibility was never mentioned to us. Plus it's basically summer time, so why weren't they aware this would be a problem?
They also urge you to be fast with a credit-card payment so that your puppy won't be delayed.
It's a very sophisticated scam. Also found a exact replica of the first site at https://www.tammyteacupoms.net/.
