A man pretending he was working for Safelink Cell Phones was in the neighborhood to update sim cards on government provided Safelink Cell Phones. Consumer gave him payment and he said he will come back with a new sim card. Consumer became suspicious and called Safelink Cellular Service directly and they informed consumer that they do not send employees to homes to update phones and that it is a scam.
