They also told me that I could scam my insurance company by telling them it was the windshield and now the back window and get my money back. They would not take a check or credit card for payment they wanted cash or use a cash app! The vehicle they came in had no company markings on it. The receipt was generic Office Depot receipt, which also had no company name on it. they told me the official receipt would be emailed in the next day at two that was eight days ago, I called them this morning to see where my receipt was and they’re telling me their system is down the same thing they told me a week ago, you are better off, calling him much reputable company like safelite.
The quoted price from them was a savings, but in the end the price was much more than Safelite would have charged.

My car was broken into late Tues early Wed. at my home. My side window was broken. Unfortunately *** *** *** repair couldn't repair until a few days so I called another company, which appeared legit with a website and all. They had the window in stock. Tech arrived in a white van with window. He seemed to know what he was doing as he started disassembling the door liner, and I noticed he pulled something from his pocket. He then tells me that the "window's clips" were broken and it was going to cost me another $300. I was suspicious so told him I'd rather just file through my insurance. He then called "his boss" who was very shady and tried to negotiate with me, which included how I can scam the insurance company to get the money back. The entire situation was very suspicious, so I asked the tech to leave. Over the phone his boss said I needed to pay him $150 for his labor, otherwise, he would have to "take my car." Needless to say, I called the police while he was standing there. He quickly packed up and left. While doing so, he also took my car key and has refused to return it. Not surprising, I had my window fixed yesterday by *** *** * *** and no such clips were needed!
