I googled North Carolina department of transportation drivers license renewal and got this site thinking I was in ncdot.gov/driverslicenserenewal. As I chose the license renewal option, I proceeded to key in the information that included my name, address, credit card information, then was instructed to check the box to go into the license renewal download. When I clicked on the download, and error 404 screen came up. The fee had already hit my credit card. I notified my credit card company and they gave me the name of the company linked to the web address. When I called the company, they denied making the charge. Others need to be warned of the fraudulent site and Safety First should be listed as a fraudulent company.
