Type of a scam Counterfeit Product
I received the items several weeks later (presumably because of the COVID-19 pandemic) and they look like the legitimate Rothy's product. It looks like they may attempting to steal the product from the Rothy's retailer or replicate a trademarked product. (See pictures attached)
The items I received did not fit and I requested to return them. I have received several emails trying to coerce me to keep the items saying that the shipping is very expensive and is overseas so it will take a very long time to return. As I cannot actually wear the item this is not an option. The response has been over and over that they will give me a $5 or $10 discount on a future purchase but strongly suggest I do not return the items and just try to sell them. I have firmly stated that I want a refund and requested the address/shipping information, but I keep getting the same email response. The email the merchant is using is: [email protected]
This retailer is ripping off the original Rothy's store and is stealing their product. Their advertising is deceiving especially to customers who are familiar with the product.
