Hired as a Quality control inspector offer was sent through email. Interview was on phone, Jaqueline. Had me watch a video about the company and position. Offered a fixed income plus bonuses for each package I sent, picked up, received and inspected. This company had a work dashboard; had to accept tasks, take pictures of receipts, items, packing lists and upload on dashboard. Seemed so legit since "managers" would call and remind you to check into dashboard or if a package is ready for pick up either in your email box or at a store; i.e Best Buy. I filled out a W2 form and signed a couple documents. Payroll was once a month. Well, when payday came, I was blocked from the work dashboard and all emails and phone calls stopped with no response. I spoke with someone the day before of payday too reassuring me I will get direct deposit and to give them my banking info so I dont have to wait for my check in the mail. Never happened.
