Claimed the had a Steiger tractor for sale, using a company in Indiana. He had an Indian accent. When questioned, he sent a picture of the tractor as well as (supposedly) the tractor in use. When we didn’t wire the money the same day, he blew up my phone, calling multiple times, never leaving a message. We asked to talk to the previous owner. Name and number given was Dave at 913-374-7739 in Kansas. He had same accent and not much information. They did not want us to drive 6 hours to look at it with a bank check. They insisted on a wire. Our final offer was to have them deliver the tractor and not unload till we wired money. He declined that offer, saying he needed at least half of the money.
