They placed an ad on FB advertising an out of business, liquidation sale. They used the legal logo for Sam Ash Music, and their website looked very official. They were advertising top brand instruments at very low prices. The photos of the individual instruments and corresponding brand logos looked legitimate. I was skeptical and went online to Google "Sam Ash Music" and learned they were bankrupt, closing stores and liquidating everything. I went back to the scam site and placed an order and paid for it with my Capital One credit card. The sale went through and I was to get my instrument within 3 days. I then looked at more instruments and ordered a 2nd one. This time, my Capital One card was not approved and they asked for a new card. Now I am suspicious again and went to the original Sam Ash website, where they were warning people of a scam using their business name. I immediately requested a refund and notified them that I am aware of the scam and it has been reported to both Capital One and Facebook. Capital One filed a dispute and credited my account back $129. Facebook notified me that they checked out my scam accusation and they disagree and will allow the site to continue on Facebook!!!! About 3 weeks after this, I received an email from the scammers saying my order has not been paid for yet and had a link to their scam website. I did not record the URL for their website, but I'm sure that Facebook can provide it!
