The scammer made a replica website of Sam Ash, a real musical instrument shop that is going out of business, and placed advertisements of clearance deals on Instagram. The website took personal/delivery information and accepted payments through Paypal. The Paypal payments went to a random individual, and the website appears to have been established in Peru. They charged $130 each for two instruments that were clearly not delivered. Many other identical scams also exist, claiming to be Sam Ash with a variety of fraudulent websites.
