I tried to purchase a charging cable from Samsung. I was redirected several times.. When I finally got someone who knew what I needed, I gave her my email address with an invoice to pay for the cable.

Just before I started to enter my payment of $14.99, (which included a $10 discount), I saw that a tax of $124.05 was listed in the charges. I once again called, the person didn't seem to understand what I was saying, transferred me, and the transfer didn't go through twice in my trying. I finally got a woman who had me send the invoice to her, and agreed that it was probably a scam. I was assured she was going to forward my report to the right department.

I am fortunate that I didn't just put in my credit card information. They do have my email obvioiusly.

I am doing this because there is someone working for Samsung who is trying to scam customers.
