I put down a $500 deposit for the puppy... Then the transport company, Touristic Transport asked for an additional $1500 which was to be refunded upon delivery of the puppy to upgrade his travel crate to a safer crate. After that, they asked for $2800 in puppy insurance because the puppy was stressed from his first flight from Virginia Beach to Charlotte , North Carolina ..
I knew at this point I had been scammed! All kinds of threatening emails came to me to pay or else I would be fined up to $25,000 and a warrant would go out for my arrest for puppy abandonment. I contacted local authorities and they responded.
