I received an email that appeared to be from Linked-In. It contained a job offer from a company who deals with solar panels, which I accepted and gave out my personal information. When I told my parents about it....they did research on the company and found that they couldn't find anything doing a basic google or yahoo search. I searched the domain name and found that it had been created in May of 2017 and seems to be owned by a foreigner. I am concerned for my personal information. I am not sure what this company is, but I am now questioning the legitimacy of this company. Since this just happened today, nothing has happened that I know of, but I am going to be taking measures now to try and secure my information.
