I was "interviewed" on the 5th, with a large series of questions that are all standard hiring questions. Once it was finished i was told i would be contacted at 8am EST on the results of my interview, which are as follows:

I was then sent a company letter, which i should have looked at closer, and asked to sign and send a photo copy of back. i used my phone instead to send the picture. Once that was completed I was sent the following:

Our regular working hours are: Mon-Fri, 8am-4pm daily 6-8 hours daily,flexible
Saturdays at 9am-1pm (paid Overtime).
Your salary will be paid $30.00 per hour and after training, it is $35 per hour
Note: you will be receiving your payment via Direct Deposit.
You will be provided the recommended needed materials to set up the tasks by the company, you will undergo a two (2) weeks training from our professional supervisor's, He/She will be training you on how to work with the programs which you will be needing to start work with accurately and other data entry works you will need to get done.
Your training is going to be done online through your PC and Phone, training will be done online remotely. Understood?

I was told that a packet and a laptop would be sent to my home to use, as well as a list of software that i would be using and trained with along with a check to purchase the software and furnishings for a home office, also to keep aside $150 for sign on bonus.

i was then told to please wait while the check was to be processed. While waiting i began to look into the company more and check on any scams/frauds. Once i found this was the following message i sent and the response i received.
Me:It has been brought to my attention that multiple accounts of fraud have been brought up against this company name. I am no longer secure in our interactions and will refrain from further interaction until legitimization can be established, by receiving the equipment and a company check that will not bounce/register as fraudulent.
Kimberly: Okay

Since then i have had no contact from the person

Fraud Employment

I was first contacted by an individual who went under the name of Evelyn Andre I am Evelyn Andre from SANFORD HEALTH advising me that my posted resume has been reviewed by their company for a Data Entry/Administrative assistance and other position with a pay of $30-$40hr We would like to know if you are interested?
I had not applied for this job at any point in time. I was instructed to download the Telegram messenger app for communication with the HR and hiring manager, Marcus Webb. I was asked once I set up my profile to notify Evelyn with a confirmation that it was completed. Once I setup the Telegram Messenger account, I was then interviewed via text messenger by Marcus Webb. The questions were the traditional interview questions. However, once the interview was completed, I was told that I would be receiving a offer letter and a check via email to make things easier for me to begin setting up a mini-office and to purchase software. I agreed and was then instructed to contact Marcus the following morning 8:00AM EST to confirm that the funds were made available to me. I was informed that my working materials and W2 would arrive in the mail with my office equipment. I was informed that I would receive further instructions once my equipment has been received and I was given a list of software that needed to be purchased from a specific vendor which they would provide. Upon contact the following day, I informed Marcus that I was unable to access my bank account because I was getting an error that my login was incorrect. Unbeknownst to me, my bank had blocked my accounts and cards because the check I deposited from SANFORD HEALTH was marked as fraudulent.
I went back and forth with Marcus Webb as to why the bank was closing my accounts and that my banking relationship was ruined.
Marcus said that no other candidates had this issue. Yet, I am left to hold the bag to look like I am involved with fraudulent activity.

I was first contacted by an individual who went under the name of DeLisha Smith from the company Sanford Health for a Data Entry Clerk position. I had not applied to this job at any point in time. I was instructed to download the instant messenger app Telegram for communication with the HR and hiring manager Kimberly McCoy. I was asked once I have set up my profile to notify DeLisha for a confirmation number for an interview. I was then interviewed via text messenger. The questions were traditional and proper. However, I was never asked any follow up questions to my answers. Once the interview was completed I was asked if I would be willing to accept a check via mail to set up a mini office. I agreed and was then instructed to contact Kimberly the following morning 8:00AM EST. Upon contact the following day I was informed of a job offer as reads:

At this point in time I was given instructions that I would be receiving a check in the mail within 24-48 hours and to use that to purchase office equipment from a vender. I was informed that my I9 and W2 would arrive in the mail with my office equipment due to privacy concerns via email. I was informed that I would receive further instructions once my equipment has been received. I was given a list of specific items to obtain and an offer letter in .pdf format was sent via instant messenger that did not include my name.
