One of my senior clients, a 90 year old female received a call stating that she can have home care to help her for the next 6 months but she has to send them $1400 in cash to a certain person at a certain address. My client went to bank to get the cash and was getting ready to send it out to the scammer when one of our social workers called her to check up on her wellness this morning before she went back outside the send the money out.

I called the number several times but he person hung up the phone when I identified myself as a supervisor from my agency. After a few minutes the phone was disconnected.
