I contacted Eugene and Sarah at Sarah's Cattery, who gave me the name of Michael Foster, a supposed breeder that they received their "parent cats" from......they told me he was trustworthy and it was he who sent me a contract for a 12 week old Russian Blue kitten who was to be delivered via shipping company several days later. On the day of shipping, I was asked to pay $1500 for a special crate for the kitten which was needed for the weather. I refused, realizing it was a scam, but had already sent $800 via Zelle and Apple Pay.
