I made contact with a breeder, "Sarah's Cavapoo Puppies", who advertised puppies for adoption online, via email to [email protected]. An unknown person texted back claiming the puppy we wanted, Charlie, was still available to be delivered to our doorstep from Ohio. They claimed to need a deposit via Zelle app. That would guarantee current vaccinations, health certificates and AKC certificates that would be included upon delivery. After sending a $500 deposit via Zelle to [email protected] we never heard from them again despite them having all of our information and despite us reaching out to them several times.

Their other email is [email protected]. There's a similar site they appear to run called "Clara's Cavapoo Puppies" (848-777-6690) that advertises the same dogs available for adoption. I hope we are able to trace these people back for our deposit for a deal that was never honored and to shut down both websites so noone else gets scammed.

My Dad wanted to get a new puppy. She googled Cavapoo puppy breeders and Sarah's Cavapoos webpage came up. These puppies are a lot cheaper than a typical cavapoo puppy (a red flag). A man answered the phone and texted photos of the puppies. When asked if they could send photos of the parents, they said the parents were already sold...does not make a lot of sense. My Dad still felt it was okay and he sent them money at first through Venmo. They said they still did not get the money so he sent the money through Paypal and then through Zelle. My dad lost $1500.00. Once they got the money they wanted, they stopped responding to my Dad's text. Do not use them. They are a scam.
