I let them know that I know they are a scam I almost gave them more information but thanks to you all you were a huge help I am looking for something from home so I can be with my kids more and I received this email at 6:00am telling me I got the job for 30 hourly and it’s wasn’t the case I did my research and came across this site and your testimonies have saved me from going too far I really appreciate it and wanted to share my experience with you all I also called the number on the legit site and no one speaks English so that was a red flag as well also his name was wilfred Arthur lol red flag

Got a text from a "Ms. Kimberly Corrine" from "Saras S.p.A Team." Considering there was many incorrectly used hyphens in the message and the fact that I have no idea who "Sara" is or what job I even applied to for them to contact me; this already looked like a scam. It is very rare that an employer is going to text you rather than email or call for the first ever interaction. Ive had other scams also text me with the same awkwardly robotic: "I am Ms./Mr. (generic first name) from (random company name) so this was another red flag for me.

They just contacted me on a text on my phone and they put me through an interview. Gave me the real company website in Italy and said its totally remote. After the entire process and being selected they asked me for personal information through and e-mail, I notice the email address for the HR manager was at gmail instead of at saras that was a big red flag; they said it was for security purposes and that is where I looked and found this so thanks for the posting! It is a scam

I just got contacted by Sara's s.p.a stating they liked my resume and one of the recruiter named mr.ryan lu said he's gonna pay me 45.5 dollars an hour

I was initially contacted by email saying they had seen my resume on one of the job search sites and wanted to interview me. He conducted an interview including detailed questions over the app Telegram and after an hour or so he said he’d discuss with his team and they came back saying they’d like to offer me a job. I was ecstatic as I’d been unemployed for almost a year. He detailed the position and everything it would entail. He said the company was based in Italy but has a location in the US and was going to commission a building in Los Angeles for March 1 so it would be a remote position until then. I was sent a job offer letter, along with a business code of conduct and the government paperwork for employment. I reported to Cristian Bionda (supposedly) every morning and completed several tasks (writing research reports). I was sent checks via FedEx to deposit to my bank account and use partially as payment and partially toward purchasing necessary equipment. Everything was always extremely detailed and seemed completely legitimate. The first check was frozen in my bank account and they apologized, said he was working personally with the chief of accounting going over their weekly finances to get the issue resolved and that they’d send a check from a different one of the financial institutions they work with. The second check cleared and they had me send one payment through Zelle, and they said the other payments had to go through the app Zengo by purchasing bitcoin and sending it as payment to the vendors accounts. They sent another check a few days later for additional equipment and by the time I had deposited it the second check was showing as frozen as well, even though it’d been showing as available earlier. My account was overdrawn multiple times but I wanted to believe it wasn’t a scam because I needed a job so badly. I ended up getting pressured to put an additional $980 on my credit card. I only fully realized the truth when my bank froze my entire account pending an investigation. I let “Cristian” know and he hasn’t responded since.
