I was searching for used shipping container on Facebook Marketplace and contacted this seller there through messaging. Seemed like a good deal but before I committed I googled the company and was directed to a rather elaborate website that fooled me into believing that they were well established and credible. I was instructed to send proof that the $2,850 had been wired and shipping would be arranged. Nothing happened for several days and inquiries were not answered. Today after 6 days they replied to another text and was told the delay was due to the fact that sales tax was not added to the original invoice. All I had to do is transfer another $750 to them and delivery would be set up. I cant believe I fell for this. I did not send the $750 but checked ScamPulse.com and found others had been scammed.
