I was contacted by this company and they used a local number that the college my son goes to is in. They called and said he had requested online tutoring for his college classes, but b/c the school required a computer program to do this, they contacted the parent to get a deposit on the CDs required for the program. The spiel was that you could keep the disks for 4 weeks and return them for a full refund. A couple days later I noticed that there was an immediate charge of $216.32 with "college placement exams" next to it. I called the company and they now claimed to be an ACT/SAT prep. I explained the initial phone call I received. They had no explanation for it, and didn't apologize for someone flat lying to me to get my money. I told them to cancel the shipment. They said they would, although about 5 days later I received the disks in the mail. I immediately marked them RTS and waited for my refund. I contacted them and they said they would refund me minus the shipping and handling of a product they FRAUDULENTLY represented! I said I was reporting them to the BBB and my credit card company and they said they would refund the full amount, although I have not seen that yet. They need to be shut down!

I received a credit card charge of $216.32 in May from this unauthorized company. I contacted my credit card as a fraudulent charge. Closed that credit card and received a replacement card a few days later. Received an unwanted package & refused it & sent it back as "refused". 2 months later, I received another fraudulent charge on my replacement credit card for $69.95. Just cancelled that card. Have no idea how this company is getting my credit card info!

Phony SAT/ACT test prep package. Cold call + persistent hard sell, stressed low cost and money back guarantee. "Only costs" $216.32, which IS less expensive than typical test prep packages. But what you get is junk - pages copied from websites, generic study tips, a few sample questions from old tests.

Had to return within 30 days for the "money back guarantee" but the money back part was a crock from the beginning. They lied about order date, lied about date it was returned, lied about refund check going out, lied about the address it was sent to. Complaints about them filed on ScamPulse.com and Ripoff Report go back several years. Looks like the guy found a racket that pays the bills and is small enough he doesn't have to worry about law enforcement..
