Our company received a fake invoice in the mail from Strategic Business Communications that lists the president of our company as the approver at the top of the invoice. It was an invoice for an advertising insertion order in the amount of $3,495.00 and tells us to pay Accounts Receivable at SBC Worldwide LLC at 1979 Marcus Avenue, Suite 210 in Lake Success, NY 11042-1022. It looks like a legitimate invoice but it isn't. It did not include any small print indicating that this is a solicitation. No one at our business ever contacted them.

Received an invoice from this company and after multiple inquiries from Executive Staff of our company, no one ordered or signed any advertising contracts with this company. As the AP person, I knew it was a scam from the start as I do all PO's for our company. I have called their number multiple times and cannot seem to talk with a person because it goes straight into VM.

Received an invoice for $3,495.00 for advertising services with an approval from our president typed on the invoice. We have never used this company for any services, advertising or otherwise. Scam to get us to pay invoice for services which were never requested or rendered.

Received invoice for advertising fees, citing the CEO as approver. We have had no contact with this company -- ever.

This company should be prosecuted for interstate mail fraud. There are a number of other reports of this on Yelp as well.

Hi there,

We were sent in the mail an invoice (attached) from a company claiming to be located in NY. It is a seriously impressive piece of scamming as it even has our CEO’s name on it, identifies a product that we are likely to have an invoice for, and the website is very convincing. I am not sure if the ScamPulse.com is the right group to send this to, but thought I would pass it along.
