Assistance is available to qualified applicants for one of the following options: 1) Monthly mortgage expense for the primary residence that was damaged by flood or; 2) Cost of temporary shelter due to displacement from the primary residence resulting from the October 2015 South Carolina floods. Relief assistance is limited to one month of assistance, up to $1,000 per applicant and one grant per residence. Deadline for application submission is November 30, 2015.

Email came to me at Lt. Governor's Office on Aging. Could not find it on BBB page and wanted to verify before we refer seniors affected by the flood to it for assistance.
