Scam Marketing WFH job Reports & Reviews (1)

- Louisville, KY, USA

Person from company sent me a job email to hire me as a virtual office assistant. Then interviewed me thru microsoft teams and asked me questions legnthy ones. They then had someone call a while later and interviewed again. I was told i had to use my own laptop and printer at first so i thought it was ok. Then they messaged later saying i got the job sent me paperwork to fill out in which i did. A paper contract job offer and and tax papers for the job. A screen to upload my drivers license and social security card copies. Then it wasnt til they asked for current employers tax w2 copies, a current check from my bank account, and said they were sending a check gor office supplies over the amount needed to have me cash after telling me id use my own supplies. They also told me to bug the supplies and meet a vender to drop it all off to to add their logo to all this equiptment. I didnt give my bank info. I didnt give my current job w2. I did give a copy of my social and driver license. They are currently still wanting me to send a better copy and my last 2 employer w2. I wish they had said all that sooner. I have been hired work from home a couple times and up til that part i didnt catch on.
