As I was scrolling through Instagram, I saw an ad for a flash sale on some very nice “Lucy & Yak” clothing. They claimed that everything was super cheap for the flash sale and you get free shipping once you surpass $35. The website appeared pretty legitimate. But alas, it was not. After I made my purchase I received a confirmation email with the name of the company “Jocition” rather than the “Lucy & Yak” clothing brand that they were advertising and claimed to be selling throughout their website. I received a “shipping confirmation” email shortly after with a tracking number that links to a tracking website. The link takes you to a VERY suspicious-looking website called “Track718” where it allegedly tracks your shipment. However, after a quick internet search, apparently Track718 is another a scam website that other scammer websites and companies like “Jocition” use to fabricate fake tracking updates for fake orders that will never actually arrive. This makes it difficult to hold anyone accountable for a refund. I have not received of the items of ordered, and there appears to be many other accounts of people being scammed by Jocition. They need to have their ads and entire platform removed. I’ve wasted $42 and with no refund in sight. What’s also frustrating is that they have you spend an extra $2 on fake “shipping insurance” for your order, so then they can send the fake “shipping confirmation” email and not be held accountable for anything else. Please get this scammer platform removed.
