The scammer attempted to get personal health info and ID info. Called the house and sent mail to my mom after her car accident. Claimed to be referred by the local hospital to take care of a claim.

* what gave it away— on vm they offered “if you want to taken off this call list…message “. AND used the name of the hospital from 5+ years ago
