A man contacted my business in GEORGIA by phone.
Claiming he was looking for jewelry and tried to pay with a stolen debit card and provided a stolen ID as well.
Scammer contacted me with the phone number 815 458 5145 and wanted to ship the box to
11469 NW 34TH ST
DORAL FL 33178.
Once suspicious of the card transaction, I checked the ID he provided with the debit card (extra step we take as a small business).
Later on I figured out the person who he claim he is, isn’t him. I contacted the person on the ID to let him know his identity is being used by another person unfortunately.
Package was never sent to the location and card provided to complete transaction with was refunded completely.
