Placed a used car ad on Craig's List. Received a call from (508)-632-9432 asking if the car was still for sale. Once I answered, the call dropped off. Seconds later, I received a text from the same number inquiring about the car. Says he needs more info before setting a time to see it in person. Then sends a text saying "Once I get a copy of the report from http://scanningvins.com I can make a solid offer on the vehicle. Just let me know after you send it so we can set up an appointment."

I checked the website - cost is $18.99. I responded that he should purchase it if he wanted to. Received a reply "Thanks look forward to a clean history. I've had my eye on that car ready to buy I think."

Obviously a bot.
