See my other post for the story and pictures.

I originally had difficulty trying to make initial contact with their Facebook page. Then after finally getting ahold of someone they insisted on moving the conversation to email and later said they “could no longer reply via Facebook.” They used different emails to communicate back and forth and the email addresses seem to be a pattern of random letters. They would reply to me a few times but then disappear. They requested a deposit and when telling them we werent comfortable paying anything without guarantee of our purchase, they sent a “heartfelt” message about how they have kids and wouldn’t do wrong by me and that they just want to provide me a loving home companion. The first contact with them, they said they were almost two hours from me in Charlotte and the second contact with them, they said they were almost two hours away from me in Columbia, SC. After disappearing when we were trying to come pick up the “puppy” they said they had a family emergency and then said their daughter had knee surgery… on a Sunday.. They then emailed back saying they would deliver the puppy via United Logistics. Of course they asked for 250 more at that point. Messages show a heavy language barrier and the “United Logistics” email they use has “United” spelled incorrectly. All of the email addresses they use go directly into the Junk box and when the “delivery man from United” messages you, he is using a number from a TextNow app. They became very pushy and requested the money repetitively and as if it were urgent. When requesting a refund, they communicated as if they were going to give it but steady sent requests for the deposit amount back to me via PayPal. They would say “you just need to confirm it then I can send the deposit, it’s the only way I can do the refund” but it was screenshots of them requesting the money, not refunding it.

I contacted the Schnoodle Puppies for Rehoming and Adoption page on Facebook and they sent me a picture of a puppy they had available, who strongly resembled our 15 yr old schnoodle dog that we just lost (see sent pics, attached)

They spoke to us, explained the fees and that he was vaxxed, chipped, crate trained, etc. Then asked for a zelle deposit of $340 to hold, getting very pushy about me sending it. I zelle'd the money and then he "ghosted" us, being evasive about pick up date/time, location, etc. I asked if I could pick up the dog and pay cash for the rest in person, and he went through this whole spiel about needing to pay in advance by giftcard. Very shady. Different locations are provided on the site as to where they reside. I live in FL so was told Tampa and when we pressured him into providing an address, we looked into it and discovered it was the address of a single woman with no dogs. I demanded our deposit back and got radio silence. Souless, that is all.
