They called from a number without an area code, and when I told them I never applied for a grant they said a school had entered me for it, I told them I wasn't enrolled in a school and they attempted to change the subject to my banking information, I said I didn't believe they were from the government and I wanted to speak to superior, it sounded like he put me on mute for two minutes and proceeded to talk to me pretending to be someone from the government. I immediately hung up and called my mother, who told me to post on the police station's FB page, they called again three other times after that, and againtoday telling me it was my last chance for the grant.
