I was contacted by this company stating that they could consolidate my student loans. I had to pay 799.00 initially, 39.00 thereafter each month. The other day I decided to call them up just to see where I stood with my balance and their phone was no longer in service! I emailed them and that didn’t go through as well. These people need to be put in jail!

ARTHUR BRAVO phone number (714) 451-7066 was the guy I was talking to.. The phone number now is no longer on service.. Everything I read on the other comments was exactly was I was told.. I paid $1000 for supposedly for the process for my student loan forgiveness.. I need to report that as well..

I received multiple letters in the mail from a Loan debt relief consolidation program. I initially thought it could have been a scam so I didn’t pay it any mind. After receiving another letter in the mail I figured I would give it a shot. I spoke to Anthony Mendoza at 714-364-0170 who talked me through the process. I was told I would have to pay $799 initially and $39.00/monthly and they would be able to lower my student loan debt from $30,000 and would be forgiven for $12,000 and paying a total of $18,000 after all of my payments were processed. I then received correspondence from them in the mail stating my loans were consolidated. This never reflected on my credit report. After I tried getting back in touch with them the 855 number had been disconnected. I then tried contacting Anthony Mendoza directly and his number is also no longer in service. Do not trust these people! I’ve seen some other people say they were able to contact the company via email for a complete refund however I don’t see any emails on the letters of correspondence I have received from them. If anyone has an email that they are reachable by please respond. I’ve been calling and all numbers are no longer in service.

I am absolutely 100% pissed off at this company and would like to get to the bottom of this scam and would like to say don't do business with scholastic Solutions for student loan forgiveness or student loan consolidation. They are not a legitimate business and they are only taking your money and not doing the service they claim to be doing! Theft is what scholastic Solutions is doing! DON'T use them! 100% a scam I want to cancel my account but I can't get a hold of anybody through Scholastic Solutions. I don't want anything to do with this disgusting horrible company!
Scam report

I was contacted via mail about a program that would significantly lower my sons student loan (government loan) I was lead to believe that this was a last chance opportunity to get my loan almost forgiven

I thought they were legitimate so I followed the instructions and I paid over one thousand dollars to a company that gives you only what you can get for free at the actual loan site. So hurtful to people who can hardly pay there bills. This must be stopped. Please take action whoever it may concern

Thank you

I received a piece of mail saying that I was eligible to consolidate my student loans to Public Service Loan Forgiveness. A woman named Alicia Tovares spoke to me and asked for my FSA information to confirm that I was eligible for the loan forgiveness. She said that the Department of Education would pay my loans and I would be signed up for a new, consolidated loan through PSLF, but I would have to pay $800 upfront to open the account within two weeks. She then sent a contract in the mail through Clixsign, and said that two initial payments of $399 would come out of my account within the month to set up the account, then $39 a month from then on.

They charge for a service that is free and tell you paying them is the only way to consolidate loans and pressure you into signing up without them giving the full requirements.

Same thing happen. They led me to believe they worked with the department of education and would help to reduce my student loans. They took a total of $799 plus $39 for a monthly fee. I attempted to cancel within the 3 days but could never get anyone on the phone. I always reached a person and they told me that they will have someone call me back.

I worked with Bernadette. I expressed that the situation felt scammish but she assured me it was legit.

Looked over the email (after I signed everything) and noticed this is a 3rd party company, that just charges to "fill out paperwork" on your behalf. The next day, the actual Government entity that controls FAFSA emailed me saying they think I just fell for a scam and not to share info. After Googling the company name, I saw all of the scam reviews. And I checked Reddit to confirm that they told me the same things as others and most are identifying this as a scam. I received an official-looking letter and they had some of my information already.

***If it sounds too good to be true, it is and you're being scammed.***

The official gov't email stated that there are free programs available to resolve debt and not to trust people who charge. They now have all of my information. Banking, social, etc. I have blocked my card, changed emails and passwords, paper-mailed the cancelation, and called (7 times) to get the cancelation.

They emailed me some generic email saying everything was canceled but I do not believe them. We will see on the date of the first draft.

luckily I caught it in time, but do NOT reply to any mail from them. they are scammers and I almost lost all of the savings I had. I had to freeze everything because of this right before started graduate school. pathetic of them.

Scammed me into paying for document preparation and is taking 39 dollars a month from my bank account as”payment toward my student loan” but in fact it is for nothing

I received a letter from them originally through the mail. Saw that it was a private student loan forgiveness/ debt consolidation business and gave them a call to see if I could discuss student loan consolidation. They told me that they could forgive the rest of my student loans if I paid a initial 900 dollars up front and 40 dollars a month. I discussed a payment plan to pay for my student loans and we agreed to 3 payments around 300 dollars. After I finished discussing it with them, I wanted to know more about their business and whether or not a offer like that legit and I heard rumors it was a possible scam. So I checked on this website to see whether or not it is legit and based on them not being accredited with the better business bureau in addition to the reviews that sound exactly like my situation. I realized it was a scam, only issue is that they already took 300 out of bank and refuse to speak with me to fix the issue. Likely to attempt take more money from me. So I transferred my remaining money to my second bank. As I currently wait for the deposit to fail, before closing my account and opening a new one. However, these thieves got away still with 300 dollars. I would like to get that resolved as well.

Once I called the number I was transferred to a woman named Bernadette who told me that if I applied for this program that my monthly payments would be reduced from 250 a month to 50 dollars a month. The way she phrased her statement was, "For a small fee of eight ninety nine you may apply for this program you are eligible for." She said the words "small fee", so I assumed that meant $8.99, not $899. Once I noticed my account balance switched to -600 some dollars, I immediately called the number and told them that I did not authorize this payment, and that I was under the impression is was a small payment of $8.99 to enroll in a program that would relieve all of my debt after 10 years. The woman named Bernadette, who gave me her "personal phone number" for any questions or concerns I may have about the program never answered the phone after I called her many times since our conversation and my realization of the amount of money that had been taken from my account. I assumed all of this was legitimate in the beginning because I was following the instructions from the letter I received in the mail.

I received a letter in the mail in December of 2021 from a company called Scholastic Solutions stating that I was eligible for student loan debt relief. I called them and we set up a plan that would make my debt change from $19,000 to $8,000. In order for them to make the documents they said I had to pay $800. I wasn't able to pay that amount up front so we set a payment plan to take four separate payments out over a span of a couple weeks. Since then $1,400 has been taken out of my checking account and no changes have been made to my student loan status. I am afraid they have given my information out to two different company as well. I had a charge from a Bank of the West in a different state then me and two $70 charges from Google-youtube is the name on my bank statement. I no longer have the letter from the mail but I have all of my emails from them. ******* ****** *********

On Tuesday, 3/15/22, I received a letter in the mail stating that they were with the Dept. of Education. The letter said that they can help me consolidate all of my student loans and forgive most of it. After googling what I thought was them because they had all of the Dept. of Education website which may me believe it was legit. I decided to call them the next day. The man who called himself Robert told me he could help me to reduce my loans and lower my payments. He then left the line to see if I could be approved. He returned and told me I was approved. Of course, I was very excited. I gave him all the requested information which included my social security, etc. He then asked me for my bank information because I needed to pay upfront fees for processing my paperwork. He scheduled to take out $399.50 on 3/18/22 and then a 2nd payment of $399.50 on 4/1/22. I only had to pay $39 per month for my loan for 240 days. The next day, I received a fraud alert email from the Dept. of Ed. stating suspicious activity on my federal student loan account. That's when I realized that I had been scammed.

I gave my SSN as well, did you have to report it or something? I did not gave any bank account. Im just worried about my SSN

I received a letter supposed to be from NelNet for Student loan repayment. The address was Scholastic Solutions 1903 S. Greeley HWY Cheyenne, WY 82007. Does mention Headquarters in Nebraska. This was just an envelope with the Wyoming Address and an application for my doctor to fill out for disability. That I requested for assistance with the consolidated the loan. They could save me $12,000 and they were working with the Department of Education and requested a pay of $399 2 Times and then another $39 totaling $837 which I paid, and then they we're going to take out $39 monthly. I had been Certified in Forbearance.

I was told today March 10th 2022 in a letter that it was a final notice to get my loans consolidated and forgiven due to my family size and income. Everything seemed legit based off of the letter having my personal info of my loan repayment about which was scary because they had everything to the amount owed and the ID #! I didn’t know that it was a scam because they were hiding behind the name U.S. Department of Education and sending me codes to verify my account and they knew all my info for where my mom lives and dad lives. I am a little scared that they got this info because they sent this info in the mail. Then told

Me on the phone they would email documents for me to sign to start with my loan servicer. I was told I would have to pay 799 down and then I could get lower monthly payments and the rest will be forgiven by the federal government. They even listed off all my colleges and the exact loan amounts owed for each. I have very little info and they still knew everything on my FSA site. When I went to logon the FSA student aid.gov it says the site is currently down? I am not sure if their info is being compromised but my info is very private and the letters they sent were different from the document they made me sign that listed this company’s name? They said different information over the phone of who they were vs what they made me sign which didn’t show the documents in full it was blurry through clixsign and I thought it was my phone. They were purposely masking info until after the fact.

I had received letters in the mail (similar bodied letters with different phone numbers and assignment with a reference benefit ID number) stating call toll-free today to redeem your federal benefits with student loan consolidation and payment reduction program prepared for me pertaining to new laws discounting federal student loans with my total student loan amount. The one company I called was claiming to be Scholastic Solutions, letter sent out claiming on 11/1/21 and I found a prior letter in the similar appearance and it was Docinaid LLC on 7/26/21 sent out. One day I called the number on one of the letters and gave my social security, full name, date of birth, physical address, and bank account information in trust that I was getting a student loan consolidation and enrolling in a loan repayment plan with loan foregiveness after 80 months. They claimed to be a REPAYE type payback method and after 80 months they would forgive the remainder of the loan which would have equated to about $6000. I talked to multiple people and provided signature for two 399.50 payments with after consolidation of the loans switching to a monthly payment with $39 per month plus my loan base monthly then my credit score would improve by going to one student loan from ten with no interest during that time and I also emailed them my full text version of my Nelnet student loan balances from nslds.ed.gov. They stated through the Department of Education consolidating these loans from Nelnet to this government loan. I spoke to a few different people and also had a 50 minute conversation with one person for the initial information conversion. A couple of days later I was reviewing the initial amount went through and while I typed something in Google I had a funny feeling this was a scam. I ended up that night talking to Nelnet who stated this was indeed a scam, they filed a complaint, I disabled my FSA ID, signed up for life lock and the following day I closed out my bank account that I had given them and sent the Scholastic Solutions an email stating I wanted to cancel services. In the fine details of loan consolidation agreement if this was done within three business days of signing the document I would get a full refund and could cancel services if requested within the 30 days of signing the documents. Multiple times I had people then call back the same customer service number, 855-312-5217 and the initial call I placed was to 866-432-2616. I was receiving phone calls from 714-252-6212 that left voicemails to call back the customer service number to either confirm receipt of emails or after my email asking for cancellation they also called and left a voicemail to return the call and confirm cancellation (which I did not). Fernando Bravo the person I gave my information to also had a direct number in an email he sent as 714-459-5672. In documents that I was supposed to quickly return it had me to mail them to servicer mailing address Mohela, c/o Navient LCP - E1140 PO Box 8008, Fishers, IN 46038-8008 USA along with a months' worth of pay stubs with the federal documents they had filled out. Over the phone I also gave my spouse's name, phone number and address, however on the documents they had it misprinted, along with my mother's name, address and phone number, and my employer's address. The federal loan documents then included direct consolidation loan application and promissory note William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan Program, Income-driven repayment plan request. I alerted the local officials and have reported fraud to oig.ssa.gov already. I initially called the numbers and signed documents on 11/8/21, the first payment went through on 11/10/21 and 11/10/21 is when I started filing complaints, calling Nelnet, and locking accounts. [email protected] is email for customer service.
