Scammer called saying from a law office in our hometown. Wanted us to settle a law suit and we never received correspondence. Asked if we could check and they wanted us to sign and pay a settlement amount. Said if we refused it would go to a lawsuit and we could dispute in court. We asked where it came from and they said from 2009 but we settled debt a long time ago. They said it doesn’t cover all and it was from 2009. So finally we hung up on them.
