A relative was contacted via phone to state that I was about to be served in regards to a legal matter. When I called this company-SCS- the person-Anita Perez stated that I owed $9,000 for a defaulted car loan from over ten years ago. She stated that HSBC had initiated the proceedings and that a garnishment and court proceedings would take place in March if I did not settle this matter. I called HSBC and they had no record of this and I had no account with them and owed no money. I called them-SCS back and was told someone would call me back. Needless to say, no one called back. Professional scammers!
