An ad on a gaming app claimed weightloss that was showcased on SharkTank by two sisters(I have seen claims later that say there are no such sisters). They show videos and pics of people on SharkTank, and results from those that used it. I ordered on the phone, I don't recall seeing 199.99 at the time, but I assumed when I saw the charge that maybe I was mistaken and it was for one bottle. In a day or two I called to ask if this product was in fact the one from the SharkTank episode, and they said no it is different. At this time I said, I don't want the product. They claimed they had shipped it, and I had to wait for it to arrive, and then call back and ask for a refund. I opened a dispute with my cc company just for backup. I returned the product unopened through the post office, got confirmation they received it... had in the meantime 2 additional calls to them where they claimed they now needed a 3 way call with my cc company to process the refund. Long story short, they gave me the runaround and finally after getting CitiCards dispute center involved on the phone, they sent me a refund notification(I still haven't received the confirmation on my cc) of $149.99 i.e. deducting $50 for restocking fee). So I am down $50 for spending time and effort on calls, sending the product back in pristine unopened condition, sending emails/pics everything possible... and down $50 for nothing. The last call which resulted in a supposed refund lasted 32 minutes. I just don't want someone else falling for this. Most gaming apps still continue to advertise for these merchants. They are frauds. They shouldn't be allowed to advertise.
