Then on 6/17/2024, I saw two charges appear on my credit card (same card I used to book the van service) from this same vendor. One charge was for $10,800 and another for $18,000. There was no service provided since the van service in April, I received no information from the company about these charges, and did not sign any Credit Card Use Authorizations for these charges. I went to post on the company's Yelp page to warn other people and I have seen at least 5 other people experiencing the same thing (Yelp page: https://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/transportation-sd?select=o9USo7HkPf6CvIKtYhFcIw)...⇄ I have been in contact with other scammed customers and they have been charged amounts up to $60k. No one has received refunds from the company. One scammed customer told me that he spoke with the business owner (Frank or Frans K is the name we have been given) and the owner said he has spoken with all affected customers and the matter has been resolved, which is not at all the case for me and others.
I have attempted to contact the company via phone calls, emails and texts. I received one text back from the business owner with confusing language (ex. "In four to five business days you will see a refund in your account tomorrow"). I told him I need to be refunded immediately or I will be reporting his business to the Better Business Bureau and the police. I have not heard back so I am doing just that. My bank is working on rectifying these charges, but I wanted to report this on a higher level since these are egregious charges and I dont want this to affect anyone else.
