I was searching to buy a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy and I came upon this Facebook page. I looked at their reviews section and I noticed they had one review about how honest they are and that the buyer got their puppy, so I decided to message them for more information. Once I got more information, I was interested but talked to my family first about it since each puppy was $1,200. We decided to buy one and the seller had told me that it’ll be next day delivery. That was on Wednesday 6/16. I paid the seller through Zelle under Allan Tazz ([email protected]). Next day came and I was told the pet nanny just picked up the puppy and even sent me a picture of the travel crate and then told me that I would need to pay $200 for city permit and $300 for traveling insurance fee both refundable once puppy was delivered. I sent the money though Zelle again but to Derek Blankenship (phone: 770-331-1873). Later that day, I get a text saying the State of Texas is requiring two vaccines for the pup so I paid $250 for the vaccines and vet service to Monroe Tubner (phone: 269-276-6385). Then next day came, and apparently the puppy had a penalty, feeding, and delay charges of $250 so I paid to Nicki Morris (phone: 501-310-6877) through Zelle. Then, the puppy needed to be on hold due to the vaccines and I had to pay $500 refundable for that to Corey Glass ([email protected]) thru Zelle. Friday night, I get an email from [email protected] with the website and tracking number of the puppy (https://sdlacourierserviceinc.com/ ). Saturday morning 6/19, the seller sends me a message stating that they have an emergency and they have to fly to Cali but the agent will contact me about the delivery. So, that same morning I get a text from the agent (phone: +1 (213) 631-3827) and they state that to proof I’m eligible to own a luxurious breed, I must pay a refundable insurance fee of $1,500. I paid $1,000 first to Latoria Cash ([email protected]) through Zelle. Then, $500 to Ace Hunt ([email protected]). After that, I was told the puppy would be delivered today in the afternoon. However, in the afternoon I get a text saying that they discovered that the puppy isn’t insured to travel and required a temperature regulator crate in order to travel so I had to pay another $1,500 refundable. For this, I sent the money through Venmo. $1,100 to Young Marcus (@Young-Marcus237) and $800 to heaty pax (@heatypax20). After this, I asked if there were anymore fees and they said no and that the puppy will be delivered on Sunday morning 6/20. After this conversation, I find out that the pictures of the puppy that were sent to me were in various of websites to “sell” puppies. Sunday morning 6/20 I managed to retrieve $800 from venmo however the agent texted stating that the puppy is on her way and that I needed to pay back what I retrieve. Unfortunately, fear of being charged with pet trafficking, I didn’t through Zelle to Selena Boyd (phone: (256)945-3006) Because of this, I became skeptical about all this and I’m reporting just to see if all this is a scam or not. If it is, please help me recover my money. Thank you.
