So I setup an appointment at an eye care office that supposedly was in Kissimmee. I schedule the appointment, get an email stating that the doctor is in Virginia.. Okay weird, lets call and see what happens what they say.. I get greeted by a lady who apologizes for the inconvenience. Stated that they are actually a marketing company specializing in eye care offices and making sites for them. Apparently the office is a fake listing that they made on purpose essentially. The site was fake too. It all looks so legit too. I used their online portal to setup an appt, which asked for my Insurance info, address, phone number, email and SSN.

Not only am I livid at this whole situation, i am also dumbfounded how easy going the lady was. Acting like its not a big deal. I told her that they need to put something on the site to state that its a fake site or take it down all together. This is not okay. She goes... Oh yeah dont worry ill put in a note and put it in the suggestion box for my manager to read.. Like LMFAO okay sure lady.

What a minor inconvenience to really sour my day.

Lets just hope my identity isnt stolen lol.
