Total money lost $5,495
Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
Loss $2600 on one account & $2500 on another.
I was instructed to cash these checks (2 separate jobs) at my financial institution & you critique the store for neatness, cleanliness, how professional and knowledgeable the service representative behind the counter was and to fill out a form with the requested information while purchasing a money gram in the store for the difference outside of my payment for the shop.
I supposedly earned $300 on 1 job and $200 on the other.
I figured it was their money
My credit unions are seeking repayment from me which I cannot pay back.
I have come to the conclusion that the Secret Shopper database has been breached where these individuals have gathered my information & probably many others.
