I got the same amount ($2,550.00) from TowneBank, same phone number in letter from “Target” (346)610-6073 told to text “Mark Armour” upon receipt of this certified (no signature required) cashiers check. I am playing along as I almost fell for it until my boyfriend told me it was a total scam and I looked it up. He (“Mark”) told me it was completely legit... lol we’ll see. I plan on taking it to Amscot and if it’s good then I’ll update but if not then the police station. This is weird. I did “sign up” for it essentially, but it’s really quite sad these days when people will actually do anything for work.
