An ad appeared on my Facebook for tax relief help: "The IRS is forgiving debt. We can help." I clicked on it. It took me to a phone number, 949-415-5807, which I called. I spoke to Kevin. He said something like so you need tax help with the IRS. How much do you owe them? I said about $***. I was on the phone with him for a long time. We went through the years I owed, and how much I owed. He asked for my Social Security, date of birth, address, phone number, bank name and debit card number. He emailed me an application which he had completed for me, and I had to sign five different places. Then he said he couldn't do anything for me until he received $500 and then he would keep IRS from garnishing anything. I told him I don't get paid till May 2nd and gave him a credit card, which didn't go through. he said he would withdraw $100 on May 2, 2022.
