I received a text on the phone of my deceased husband claiming that Securian Financial was conducting a test of its Financial Notification system. It said to please press '1' to verify receipt. We have never used Securian for anything. Honestly, I've never heard of them prior to this text. We don't even receive any USPS mail from them. I can only imagine that this was the beginning of a phishing scheme.
