Beware scam company and counterfeit product

This company is dropshipping and selling XITUO manufactured knives from China at a seriously upmarked price. The claims for the knives authenticity is also a scam. Watch out for these frauds. Japanese VG-10 is patented and isnt allowed to be exported out of Japan. Also Xituo does NOT manufacture these blades by hand. These people will tell you straight away (even if you cancel your order right after ordering) that canceling your order isn't possible and also that you cant return the products according to their promises on the website. If you go out of your way to pay for shipping back their products (which they promised to do for free) they will tell you that the product has been used / is not in original condition etc. And will not reimburse you anything. This company is currently being investigated by local authorities, but other people who have bought these scam knives should also file reports. Even if you are happy with the knives you got, they are not authentic and what has been "promised" by their website. Also you can search for XITUO blue resin handle knives on ALIBABA to find a link to the direct seller. As an overseas customer I got these knives shipped to me DIRECTLY from XITUO... What a sham. Avoid these fraudsters guys.

Also several other websites including https://www.kanzenknives.com/ (which is a known scam) include exactly the same design on their websites, which goes to show that the same guys operating these scams open up new websites when the old scams get too much publicity. With small effort you can google and find more information about these.

Type of a scam Counterfeit Product

This company claims to be selling traditional Japanese Damascus knives. After ordering a set off Amazon I got curious about the company. They had one reviewer who wasn’t a verified buyer whose supposed location was in Salt Lake City, UT. When I looked up the company’s website I found their number and attempted to call it. It rang till voicemail but the number repeated back to me was a number that started with a 2. So I googled the number and came across another company with the exact same number called Allen Technologies. A web designer company. I immediately cancelled my order of $400.03 on Amazon but was warned that cancellation wasn’t guaranteed due to them being a third party. I will include a screenshot of the googled number and what it showed.
