SET 1.) Briefly describe my work experience, what is my clerical speed (wpm), Do I work under pressure and 3 words to describe my self.
SET 2.) What am I most proud of, professional reference, what phone carrier I was with and for how long (post or prepaid plan), Tell why would I be the right person for the job and to see what bank I used to see if it tallies with the company salary account.
SET3.) Do I currently have a job and what position, Am I seeking full/part time position, what is privacy/code of conduct, what company I worked for and how long, and where do I see myself in 5 years.
I answered all the questions. The person told me I that I had done impressively well and that I would be a good fit for the company. They would forward our conversation to the company head department to enable them to see if I was qualified for the job and that I needed to reach back out to them in 15 minutes for an update. I responded back about 20-30 minutes later to see if they heard anything. They sent me a "congratulations" message via teams stated that they would like to offer me the position and told me about the benefits they offer. In the last paragraph, it said that I would be enrolled in the benefits 1-2 months after working with them and that they would be communicating through messenger/Telegram till after 7 days of working with them. After they were done updating their website, they would include me a link to their server, and a list numbers of various departments. They need my name, address, email and phone number. I gave it to them. Then they sent me another message stating that the company would email me a check for my work material, did I have a printer and what was my mobile deposit limit and that I would be required to deposit the check through my mobile app and the funds would be available the same day or next day. I ask for the start date. Totally ignored my question. Red flags immediately went off!!!! So at this point I started to play dumb. I told them I usually cash my checks at the bank. They asked me if I used the mobile bank. I told them I do but I take my checks to the banks. They then said that the check would be sent to my email and all I had to do was print it off and then deposit it via the mobile app. I lied and said that I would print it off and asked again when was the start date and what equipment was I receiving. Again ignored my questions. They asked me again what was my mobile deposit limit. At that point, I was like ok this is most definitely a scam. I said I don't think I have one (playing dumb) and was there a number I could call them. And their response was "call to confirm your mobile deposit limit?" I said to call you and where were they located. As of 7:45 pm on August 8/2023. No response! I hope I did not set myself or my family up for failure!!!
