to me
Christopher,
Thank you for your interest in the Technical Support role that I recently posted on Indeed for my company, Casa. If you are still interested in the position, I would like to set up an initial interview with you. I am available more or less most of the day tomorrow (Thursday, July 9) and can also make time on Friday if you have availability on either day. Please let me know a few time blocks that would work for you on those days, if you’re available.
This role is chiefly supporting a Point of Sale platform that we own called Point of Success (www.pointofsuccess.com).
Best,
Matt

Just recieved another email from Matt Ware on Ju;y 10, 2024 ..I am not buying. Look at the signature
First off, thank you for pointing out the mistake I made with the days and dates in my email. That was a screw up on my part at the end of a 14 hour day and I appreciate you calling it to my attention.
As for your other questions about the legitimacy of the company, it is certainly fair to ask and I appreciate when people do diligence. I am a lot less enthusiastic about the immediate pivot to accusations and threats when some simple additional diligence would immediately show who I am. A search for ‘matt ware maine’ or ‘matt ware maine casa’ both have my LinkedIn profile at the top with my full career and educational history. Furthermore, as I noted in my original email, this position is in support of a product that is owned by a subsidiary of Casa, Point of Success. A look at the link I provided there not only demonstrates that is a legitimate, long standing company but I also appear on the ‘About Us’ page with a very brief bio.
I respect the depth of your background and, as I said, I always appreciate questions and clarification, but I cannot proceed with an interview process where my initial interactions are immediately antagonistic. This role is a position where the ability to sooth and deescalate agitated customers is equally as important as the resolution of their technical issues. I’m afraid that that our initial interactions have given me the data I need that, unfortunately, you are not the right fit for this role. I wish you good luck with your job search and thank you again for spotting my day and date mistake and bringing it to my attention.
Best,
Matt</[email protected]>
